What is Mastering? Why do I need it?!

Mastering is the final step of the recording process. It adds a sense of cohesiveness to the music, increases clarity and raises the overall level. It preserves continuity and can even make your music sound more vibrant, punchy and exciting!

There is also a technical side to Mastering such as Red Book CD authouring, embedding ISRC, EAN and UPC codes if required and ensuring that the finished product contains no errors before being sent off for duplication. If you plan on doing a vinyl release, other technical factors need to be taken into account and we are more than happy to liase with your pressing plant/dupluication service to get you the best sounding product.

We offer competitively priced Mastering for bands and artists on independant record labels or if you are self releasing.
